Abstract
This research was carried out in Serapium plantation of Corymbia citriodora, and Eucalyptus camaldulensis where infestation symptoms caused by Phoracantha semipunctataon these sites had been detected. Results showed that Eucalyptus camaldulensis species was more resistant than Corymbia citriodora species, since the infestation percentage was 9.6% and 26.5%, respectively. Moreover, decreased moisture content of plants and soil (owing to drought period and increasing temperature) affected strongly infestation levels.
