Abstract
This research aimed mainly at determining the degree to which Bedouin Matruh benefited from the extension activities provided by local organizations working in the field of raising awareness of the dangers of the agricultural environment. The research sample consisted of 150 respondents representing (10.0%) of the farmers in the research area, and they were chosen randomly in the Marsa Matrouh Center in Matrouh Governorate. The final data for this research was collected through a personal interview of the respondents using a questionnaire form during the period from November 2022 to January 2023. It was used in the analysis of research data. The computer uses the SPSS program. The statistical analysis methods used were frequency tables, percentages, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and Pearson's simple correlation coefficient. The most prominent research results were: Low level of education, cultural openness, general awareness, and sources of information for the respondents. The results also showed that more than a third of the respondents had low exposure to those efforts made to reduce agricultural environmental risks (37.3%), as well as a low degree of the respondents benefit from the activities provided by local organizations. At a rate of (36.0%), the results also showed the existence of a positive, negative correlation at the probability level of 0.01 between the degree of benefit of the respondents and each of the following: size of animal holding, participation in training courses in the field of environment, cultural openness, level of contact with information sources, level of ambition, and social participation. Voluntary, innovative.
